Air cleaning for fiberglass and composite manufacturing

Fiberglass Composites and are manufactured with polyester resins and gelcoat. These substances pollute the workstation and the exhaust air. The key challenge is extensive product surfaces that evolve hazardous substances.

Specific air contaminants: styrene (phenylethylene, vinylbenzene or ethylbenzene), plasticizer and gelcoat vapors and aerosols, spray paint and solvent vapors

Air cleaning objective: ventilation exhaust air cleaning, workstation air cleaning, air recirculating

A conventional solution (cleaning stages):
1. Anti-aerosol filter: spray paint removal
2. Electrostatic precipitation module: aerosols removal
3. Plasma module: solvent vapor and gases removal
4. Adsorption and catalyst module: air purification, excessive ozone removal

    95% solvent vapor and gases removal
